Level one constitutes the day zone - space available to guests; level two is more private, intended mainly for the owners.
The apartment is owned by a couple in their twenties: medicine students and animal lovers. Hence the animal motifs as a frequent element of the furnishings (ostrich wall console - Ibride, rabbit lamp - Moooi, Birdie's Nest ceiling lamp - Ingo Maurer, a rat graphic on the wall (hand-painted), a cat graphic in the toilet).
The austere, minimalist and monochromatic interior is softened with the use of strong color elements.
